Marian Harrison-Uba~ Executive Director
Marian Harrison-Uba, the Executive Director for Mercy Volunteer Corps, started in April 2007.  Marian has been a Mercy Associate with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Community of the Sisters of Mercy since 2002. Prior to joining the MVC staff, Marian was the Director of Career Services at Gwynedd Mercy College, where she served the students for eight years.  Marian is a highly-motivated, talented woman, and, as a Mercy Associate, she says, “I am dedicated to the heritage, spirit and values of the Sisters of Mercy.”

Marie Schultz ~ U.S. Program Coordinator
I am the U.S. Program Coordinator for Mercy Volunteer Corps. I am originally from Dayton, Ohio, and attended the University of Dayton.  I met the Mercy community when I was searching for a volunteer program in which to participate following college graduation.  From 1999 to 2000, I volunteered with Mercy Volunteer Corps in Baltimore, Maryland, at The Learning Bank of COIL, Inc. (an adult literacy center in Southwest Baltimore).  Following my volunteer year, I had the opportunity to assist with the volunteer community in Detroit as part of their support network.  I joined staff in January 2005 and consider it a gift to be able to walk with the volunteers as they live their experience.

Lisa Stellino ~ International Program Coordinator
When I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, I spent a year in Buffalo with Franciscan Volunteer Ministry.  That experience, especially working at a refugee shelter, planted the seeds that later led me to volunteer with Mercy Volunteer Corps in Guyana, South America.  I volunteered in Guyana from 2002-2004 where I served as a social worker at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and a tutor at St. John Bosco Orphanage.  Staying involved with MVC since my return to the U.S. has helped me to remind myself of the values, lessons, and memories I hold so dear from my time in Guyana.  I am thankful for the chance to join the staff of MVC and devote my time so that others may experience the gift of spending a year or two with the program.

Janet Gary ~ Recruitment and Publications Coordinator
After graduating from Marquette University in 2007, I spent a year as a volunteer in Tucson. My time spent there allowed me to grow and involve community members in volunteer programs. I am excited to join the amazing staff of Mercy Volunteer Corps and involve more volunteers from across the nation with our program.

Mary DeMarco ~ Office Administrator

I joined Mercy Volunteer Corps in September 2007 after being a stay-at-home mom for 15 years! I live in Horsham, Pennsylvania and have four wonderful children. During this past year, I have met so many wonderful people and enjoy working with those who are so dedicated to the works of the Sisters of Mercy. I am truly blessed to be a part of such an inspiring team and look forward to many years of serving Mercy Volunteer Corps.
